A Wine Lover’s Feast at Paul K Restaurant

Paul K Restaurant, one of Hayes Valley’s best-kept secrets, is hosting a Dutton Estate & Paul Mathew winemaker dinner with Mat Gustafson this Sunday. And what a feast it will be!

The evening kicks off with a casual wine reception. Sip on Paul Mathew Rose of Pinot while nibbling on crostini with goat cheese, cumin & caraway crusted lamb kofte with chili harissa, and spinach & three cheese filo triangles.

Dinner Menu:

1st Course: Arugula, shaved feenle, baby beets with Humboldt fog goat cheese and tarragon vinaigrette.
(served with Dutton Estate Sauvignon Blanc “Kylies Cuvee”- Russian River 2006)

2nd Course: Pan roasted day boat scallops with tomato-ginger sauce, avocado yogurt, and carrot crisps.
(served with Dutton Estate Chardonnay “Dutton Palms” - Russian River 2005)

3rd Course:
Duck 3 Ways: seared breast, confit, and duck sausage with braised red cabbage and fingerling potatoes.
(served with Paul Mathew Pinot Noir “TnT Vineyard” - Russian River 2005).

Dessert: Chestnut honey pot de creme with strawberry compote, whipped cream, and ginger cookie.
(served with Dutton Estate French Colombard “Sweet Sisters” - Late Harvest 2006)

The entire evening (reception + 4-course feast) is $99, and includes tax + tip.
