New Thursday Night Happenings at SFMOMA

To celebrate 75 years of excellence in exhibiting the leading artists of our time, SFMOMA presents Now Playing, a series of three Thursday evening happenings that offer late-night guests a sophisticated social experience. Now Playing is FREE with museum admission, and offers audiences a new museum experience that comes with the increasingly performance-based nature of contemporary art. The evenings feature headline performances by Los Angeles-based art band My Barbarian, local sound artist Laetitia Sonami, video artist SUE-C, and a collaborative multimedia project from artist Chris Johanson and THE THING Quarterly. Guests will also have access to all galleries, curator-led talks, drop-in film screenings, complimentary bites from leading San Francisco restaurants as well as cocktails from multiple cash bars.
