Zambaleta presents FREE All-Day Live Music and Dance Jam

Join Zambaleta, San Francisco's new school for world music and dance, in an all-day jam session celebrating the spirit of Carnaval. Bring your instrument(s), dance moves, and singing voice to Zambaleta's Mission District campus and perform with the school's students and faculty in their extraordinary performing space. Community members of all ages are invited. The all-day event will be hosted by some of the Bay Area's premiere performers and teachers of world music and dance, who will lead sessions of Brazilian samba, kirtan, kecak "gypsy" jazz, improvisation, Roma brass music, square dancing, and more. Mardi-Gras food and refreshments will also be available for purchase.
