St. Patrick's Day Whiskey Tasting at Sakoon

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with an Indian Twist. Sakoon in Mountain View is hosting a fun Whiskey Tasting this Wednesday in their upstairs lounge. Guests can sample a variety of Whiskeys (including Jamesons and Bushmills), paired with green appetizers from Chef Sachin Chopra. All guests will receive a free "Shamrock Shot" upon arrival. The kitchen will also be serving special dishes in the main dining room, including: Spicy lamb merguez with tandoori pepper sauce, frisee salad ($11); Irish lamb stew - whole lamb shank roasted with fresh herbs and beer, served over blue cheese potatoes ($20); and Spicy vegetarian/chicken meatballs tossed in chimichurri sace ($10).
