Fillmore Jazz Festival Is Back!

fillmorejazz.jpgThe Fillmore Jazz Festival is back this Independence Day weekend. Blending art & soul in one of SF’s hippest neighborhoods, it’s the largest free Jazz festival on the West Coast.

From sunup to sundown, visitors can groove to the sounds of live jazz music on 3 stages, browse the offerings of over 8 blocks of fine art and crafts and enjoy gourmet food & beverages. Asian to Cajun, paintings to pottery, old favorites and new directions, the Fillmore Jazz Festival is not to be missed.

Cote Sud’s Bastille Day Celebration

Cote Sud is offering a traditional 4-course dinner for $39.

Jim Murdoch, a popular accordionist, will be playing French classics. The menu includes:

AN AMUSE BOUCHE

APPETIZER (choice of): Sonoma mix greens in simple vinaigrette; Soupe of the day; Beet and goat cheese Napoleon; Terrine of duck and foie gras; or Steamed mussels with white wine, shallots & cream.

ENTREE (choice of): Trio of fish with sauce bouillabaisse; Sauteed sea scallops; Boeuf Wellington; Braised chicken in red wine; or Vegetable feuillete.

DESSERT (choice of): Sorbets; Crème brulee; French bread pudding; or Chocolat guillotine.

Spruce’s $30 Lunchtime Harvest Menu

The seasonal harvest menu currently features braised spring onions, pancetta-wrapped day boat scallops, and pannacotta with market blueberries for dessert.

Lunch is $30, or $45 with wine pairing.

If you’re worried about getting too loaded before returning to the office, diners also have the option for a half wine pairing.

The Buckshot $15 Early Bird Menu

The Buckshot Bar & Gameroom is a cozy neighborhood bar and restaurant that boasts sinfully yummy southern comfort food made from fresh, local ingredients. One of their most talked about menu options is the chicken fried bacon.
